I love my job because it's all about real things. Every project is different, and every day brings new surprises and challenges. When shooting documentaries, There is a joy in capturing the moments that tell a story. A moment of laughter between friends, a child's smile, a stranger's gaze - these are the things that make life worth living. My work has taught me to slow down and appreciate the little things. It has taught me to be more mindful of my surroundings. It has allowed me to see the world differently, and to emancipate myself from limitations. I am no longer bound by the constraints of time and space. I can capture a moment and hold it forever. I can share these moments with others, and help them to see the beauty in the world. Photography is a gift, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share it with others.

Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF cinema camera

The URSA Cine utilizes a new large format 12K sensor capable of 16 stops of dynamic range, as well as the ability to capture Blackmagic raw at up to 12K 3:2 open gate. A big benefit of having a 3:2 Open Gate mode is that you can exploit the full height of the sensor when shooting with anamorphic lenses. The camera supports de-squeeze function for many different factors, including 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.66, 1.8 and 2x.
